Morgane - Spring 2024

I had the incredible opportunity to be selected as a participant in the EU Academy last year, and it was truly an enriching experience. The program gathered individuals from diverse backgrounds and fields of study, all eager to explore the complexities of the European Union.

Throughout the academy, I engaged in in-depth discussions with experts, including diplomats and commissioners. These interactions provided me with practical insights into their roles and responsibilities. One memorable encounter was with the Ambassador of Georgia in Copenhagen, who helped me  understand of how the EU can play a role on international relations.

A second highlight of the program was the debate organized at the last meeting, where we were able to apply our learning to real-world scenarios. I found this experience particularly rewarding, as it fostered a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives among my fellow participants, each contributing their unique backgrounds and experiences.

The EU Academy not only expanded my knowledge of European affairs but also helped me develop crucial skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and effective communication. I also gained confidence in expressing my thoughts and ideas.

Leaving the program, I felt even more inspired by the EU and reaffirmed my desire to pursue a career related to its activities. 

I highly recommend the EU Academy to anyone interested in deepening their understanding about the European Union in general.
